How to schedule appointments?

• There are several ways to schedule an appointment, please choose the option that is easiest for you:​

  • Phone: 256-235-3799. We do our best to answer phone calls, but if you get the voicemail that means we are either in on another call or assisting another client. Please feel free to leave a message on our confidential voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible.​

Do you accept insurance?

• Yes, we currently accept Blue Cross ​​​Blue Shield and Medicaid. At this time, we only accept Medicaid for children which required a referral from your child's pediatrician's office to be fax in to our office. If you plan to use Blue Cross Blue Shield then you need to call the number on the back of your card and ask if Edith Couch is an approved provider. If she is then they will also give you your copay amount.

How much are private rates?​

• Private rates start at $110 for an hour session. An hour session is 50 minutes long which gives our counselors 10 minutes to do notes after the session.​

Are there multiple fees for couples or families?​

• No, we only charge one fee and one copay for sessions involving multiple people.​

Do you offer disability services?​

• Yes,  we offer disability determination services.​

Do you offer drug testing services?​

• Yes, we offer various drug testing services including hair and nails. Private rates for hair is $125 and nails is $250. Hair tests can go back 3 months, while nails can go back 6 months. Hair tests require no weave, extensions, or sew ins. Nail tests require 10 fingernails or 10 toenails, must be real nail and unpolished. Private rates for urine or saliva tests are $35. Please be aware that labs are behind and it can take days or weeks to receive results.​
